Social Evening: Dinner & Entertainment

Join us on Friday evening for a fantastic opportunity to socialise with other upholsterers, suppliers and industry connections.
Whether you've been at the festival during the daytime on Friday or are arriving ahead of the festival's second day on Saturday, the dinner will be a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the venue at Sandhurst and get to enjoy their famous Gurkha curry buffet.
The buffet will be followed by drinks and live entertainment in the bar afterwards.
Whether you are attending on your own or as part of a group, our hosts will be on hand to make introductions and provide plenty of opportunities to mingle and make new friends and contacts.
The dress code for the evening is Cocktail, please feel free to dress up and dress to impress! Whether this is nice trousers and a top and jacket, your sharpest suit, your best dress or a stunning jumpsuit, wear whatever you are most comfortable in. A changing space will be available if needed for those not staying at a hotel or with no time to change and there will be storage for bags and clothing.
The Committee would like the social event to be accessible and open to as many people as possible.
We have put together a great package with Sandhurst to be able to offer tickets for this fantastic evening for just £42 - get tickets here – this includes a glass of fizz* or two on arrival, a two course buffet** with two glasses of wine* included and tea or coffee to finish, along with entertainment in the bar afterwards (note additional drinks in the bar after the meal are not included in the ticket price).
You do not need a daytime entry ticket to buy tickets to the Friday evening social, we recommend booking your tickets as soon as possible.
*Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available as an alternative. Please advise us when booking your tickets.
**Please advise us of any special dietary requirements when booking your tickets as these can also be catered for.

Entertainment by The One Eyed Man
In the bar we will be entertained by the fantastic singer/songwriter 'The One Eyed Man' - an amazing indie folk singer from Wokingham in Berkshire who will play a wide ranging variety of music whilst we mingle after the dinner.

Welcome drinks – your friendly Festival of Upholstery hosts will welcome you to the venue for welcome drinks in the bar.
Gurkha Curry Buffet – in small groups, your hosts will guide you through to the dining room to be served at the hot plate buffet and take a seat at the tables with hosts and fellow festival attendees. The buffet will also include dessert, red or white wine, non alcoholic drinks and finishing with tea or coffee.
Bar and entertainment – adjourn to the bar for drinks and entertainment, a great opportunity to informally meet new contacts, relax and enjoy the rest of the evening.
